As part of Nayarit Vallarta Gastronómica 2025, Villa Premiere will host a magical evening where Mexican cuisine rises to meet the starry skies of Puerto Vallarta.

“The Soul of Mexico: From Roots to the Stars” will gather some of the most celebrated names in gastronomy: Kisko García of Choco in Spain and Rodrigo Rivera-Río of KOLI in Nuevo León, both Michelin-starred chefs; Paco Ruano of Alcalde in Jalisco, recognized in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants; Francis Peña of El Gallego in the Dominican Republic, judge on MasterChef; and Heinz Wuth of Ciencia y Cocina in Chile, international culinary communicator.

The evening continues with the creative force of regional and Caribbean talent: Rogelio Domínguez, host chef of Villa Premiere; Marco Valdivia of Emiliano in Nayarit; Rodolfo García of La Casta in the Dominican Republic; and Domingo Martínez of Amatxi in Guanajuato.

Enhancing the experience, expert mixologists and sommeliers will design an exceptional pairing: Ahtziri Rodríguez and Leonardo Buenaventura of Club Beva in Puerto Vallarta, Lorena Socorro Morales of Vinos América, and Yamir Pellegrino, Master Habano and sommelier from Cuba. Together, they will transform every dish and every glass into a sensory journey.

Kisko García – Chef of the restaurant Choco

Michelin-starred chef from Córdoba with 2 Repsol Suns. At Choco, he redefines Andalusian cuisine by blending tradition and innovation, sharing the flavors of Córdoba worldwide.

Rodrigo Rivera-Río – Chef of the restaurant KOLI Cocina de Origen

Founder of KOLI Cocina de Origen, Michelin-starred and named among Latin America’s 50 Best. He reimagines northeastern Mexican cuisine with creativity and research, showcasing Nuevo León on the global culinary stage.

Paco Ruano – Chef of the restaurant Alcalde

Chef of Alcalde, trained at Mugaritz, El Celler de Can Roca, and Noma. Known for his bold, perfectionist style, he reimagines Mexican cuisine, with Alcalde ranked #51 in the World’s 50 Best and #12 in Latin America’s 50 Best.

Francis Pena – Chef of the restaurant El Gallego

Self-taught chef and founder of El Gallego in Santo Domingo. He blends classic product-based cuisine with modern techniques, while also serving as consultant, teacher, and judge on MasterChef Dominican Republic.

Heinz Wuth – Chef, creator of Ciencia y Cocina

Chef and science communicator with over 20 years of experience. Creator of Ciencia y Cocina, he blends gastronomy and science to inspire, teach, and debunk culinary myths at @soycienciaycocina.

Rodolfo García – Chef of the restaurant La Casta

Dominican chef with Spanish roots and over 20 years of experience. At La Casta, he blends technique and creativity to tell stories through flavors, while leading several culinary projects in Punta Cana.

Domingo Martínez – Chef of the restaurant Amatxi

Chef and owner of Amatxi, where he blends Basque tradition with innovation in a welcoming atmosphere, offering unforgettable culinary experiences.

Marco Valdivia – Chef of the restaurant Emiliano

Executive Chef of Emiliano and founding member of the Nayarit Academy of Gastronomy. A promoter of Riviera Nayarit, he rescues local ingredients and recipes, showcasing his region’s cuisine on national and international stages.

Enrique Ruíz – Host Mixologist

Corporate mixologist at Hoteles Buenaventura with over 8 years of experience, specializing in cocktails and liquid experiences. An expert in pairings with Mexican spirits, he participates in events such as the International Gourmet Festival and Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica. Passionate about innovation, he focuses on Mexican spirits and trains others in liquid experiences.

 

Yamir Pellegrino – Máster Habano & Sommelier de Cuba

President of AGA & AGI, Honorary President and PhD at IACS, Master Cigar Sommelier, Food & Beverage Manager, and sommelier consultant. Two-time winner of the Gourmand Cookbooks & Wines Awards, writer and gourmet instructor, with extensive experience in gastronomy and sommellerie.

 

Ahtziri Rodríguez – Mixologist at "Club Beva"

Passionate mixologist, recognized for creating innovative cocktails with Mexican spirits, blending technique and creativity. She works at Mar y Arena, serves on the Beva board, and leads projects such as artisanal kombucha and Craftender by Artender, developing high-quality mixology products.

 

Lorena Socorro Morales – Sommelier at "Vinos América"

Originally from Mexico City, she holds a degree in Communication Sciences and is a certified sommelier through ASM and ASI. Working as a sommelier at Vinos América and independently, she provides consulting, training, and personalized experiences. As secretary and legal representative of the collective "Ellas se Juntan," she combines her passion for wine with education and creativity.

 

Leonardo Buenaventura – Mixologist at "Club Beva"

Originally from Guadalajara, he holds a degree in Tourism (UdeG) and has over 18 years of experience in hospitality and restaurant management. As bar supervisor at Playa Los Arcos and Noroc, he was also founder and treasurer of BEVA, promoting mixology, bars, and liquid experiences. He has participated in events such as Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica and Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, standing out for his innovation in high-quality cocktail creation.
