Some destinations you visit, and others you remember with a soundtrack. From October 31 to November 5, 2026, Puerto Vallarta becomes both: the city will host HEAT Week and the 2026 HEAT Latin Music Awards gala, one of the most anticipated events for Latin music fans across the continent.
For the First Time in Mexico, and in Vallarta
After more than a decade of touring stages across Latin America, the HEAT Awards are coming to Mexico for the first time. This year’s edition is called HEAT al Estilo Jalisco and is organized in coordination with the Government of Jalisco, the Jalisco State Entertainment Agency, and the Municipality of Puerto Vallarta.
The week of activities is split between Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta, culminating on Thursday, November 5, with the awards gala at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center.
A Night of Big Names
The 2026 edition honors Latin music across 30 categories and, for the first time, includes Best Regional Mexican Artist. Karol G and Bad Bunny lead the nominations, and the night will feature tributes to beloved careers such as those of Olga Tañón, Los Ángeles Azules, Banda MS, Piso 21, and Don René Camacho.
More than 50 renowned musicians and content creators from Spanish-speaking markets will be in attendance, and the event will be covered by over 300 national and international media outlets. If you can’t be at the venue, the gala will be streamed live on LosHeat.tv.
