My husband and I were
originally scheduled to go to the Mayan Riveria for
our 25th Wedding Anniversay. The day we were to depart
for our vacation was the day that Hurricane Wilma made
landfall. In hindsight, Wilma was a blessing for us.
We rescheduled to the Villa Premier, for December 3-10
and we were so impressed! We were greeted with the cool
towels and glass of wine, and the neck and hand massage
as other people have written about.
We stayed in a deluxe room , which was just fine for
us. I mean, how much time do you spend in a room when
it is 85 degrees outside? The concierge and the wait
staff were all wonderful! We did the all inclusive and
we never ate the same meal once in the 7 days we were
there. The food was to die for. The fresh seafood was
unbelieavable, all the meals were delicious and presented
with such beauty and flair.Even when you ordered room
service the plates were beautiful! And eating breakfast
every morning outside beside the ocean....oh ....what
more could you want! It was so nice that we were close
to downtown. My husband and I walked downtown every
day after breakfast and then again at night we walked
the Malecon Boardwalk. There was a parade every night
as it was leading up to the holiday on December 12.
The room was always clean and ANYTHING that you asked
for they helped with or found for you. We never encountered
one staff member who wasn't friendly and helpful. They
all had smiles on their faces and a willingness to help
you.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone
that asks for a serene, wonderful, and totally relaxing
place to stay.I can't say enough good things about the
Villa Premier.
We are already talking about going back next year!

We just can't say
enough wonderful things about our stay at Villa Premiere!!
We stayed there for our honeymoon Nov. 28-Dec. 5, 2005.
The hotel is just beautiful and within walking distance
of downtown, the Malecon (boardwalk), and Old Downtown!
The beach wasn't all that great, but the pool area more
than made up for it!
The food was FANTASTIC! We didn't have a single bad
thing and we tried almost everything!
The service was OUTSTANDING! But keep in mind that this
IS Mexico, and service isn't speedy like it is in the
US. But the servers were all SO friendly and went out
of their way for us. Of course we always tipped them
$1 bill each meal!
Our room was so wonderful. We had a jacuzzi suite (not
a master suite, just a regular jacuzzi suite). The only
downside was that we were on the first floor, so we
didn't have the spectacular view that the upper levels
have on 6 and 7th floors!!
We only did one tour while we were there and that was
the CANOPY TOUR. We loved it and highly recommend it.
I was so terrified to go, but once I got there and did
the first zip line, I realized it was beautiful and
NOT at all scarey! The rest of the time we just lounged
by the pool all day and worked on our tan, and walked
downtown pretty much every night and looked in all the
shops.
Overall we had an incredible time and will definitely
go back to Puerto Vallarta, and will definitely stay
at Villa Premiere again and again!!!

My Boyfriend and I
just came back from a 7 day stay at the VP. Having read
all the great reviews online I expected a top notch
hotel but it managed to exceed my already high expectations.
I found all the staff to be extremely friendly and attentive
and the grounds were immaculate. We stayed in the Premiere
room which was extremely roomy and had an indoor jacuzzi
that we took advantage of every night. The pool is basic
but the lounge chairs and hanging beds around the area
make it a relaxing area to bask in the sun.
As a gay couple we felt very comfortable although the
guests seemed to be made up primarily of older heterosexual
couples. The staff made us feel very welcome and in
no way unwanted. We both found it to be a very gay friendly
environment without being "a gay hotel".
We did not do the all inclusive option as the restaurant
scene in town is AMAZING. However the meal or two that
we did have at the hotel was also quite good.
I have stayed at some of the best hotels in the united
states and europe and i felt this hotel easily contended
with those in terms of luxury and staff.
The only people i would caution from this hotel are
those who really like a landscaped pool area with multiple
pools and waterfalls etc as well as people who want
more activites planned at the hotel itself.

My husband and I stayed
at the Villa Premiere 10-31 thru 11-10. The hotel is
about 1/2 hour from the airport, and within walking
distance to the Malecon (long, hot walk). The VP is
beautifully decorated with paintings and sculptures
from various Mexican artists.
We had a deluxe room (the cheapest), and it was great.
All rooms have an ocean view. The rooms are kept immaculately
clean.....art work/colors are all done well. There is
an in room safe/hair dryer/clock radio/TV with remote/refrigerator.
We had the all inclusive plan, and most times the frig
was restocked daily with bottled water/beer/soda. The
balcony was great at night watching sunsets and the
various cruise ships, and fire works.
There are 3 restaurants. La Ceiba serves breakfast and
lunch. It is "open air" and you can be barefoot
and in bathing suits if you so choose. There are no
buffets at any of the restaurants. Everything is a la
carte. All of our meals here were great. My only suggestion
would be to keep coffee in carafes in order to serve
it hot. You can order breakfast or lunch when you're
at the pool or beach, and have it served to you there.
Manglar and Murales are open for dinner only. There
is supposed to be a dress code in Murales, but they
seem lax enforcing it. Murales has a guitar player most
nights, and it is softly lit. The food is gourmet, and
service great. Manglar is also beautifully decorated
and food is terrific. We didn't have one meal that wasn't
great....fish meals were exceptional.
The pool bar (swim up) is open from 11 AM to 6PM. Jorge
is a great bartender.....making you anything you request.
They have Absolut/Beefeaters/etc. etc. If the drink
isn't strong enough for you, just ask for a double.
The inside bar is open 6PM to 10:30 PM (I think). For
those of you who want to drink later, you can go next
door to the Buenaventura's bar which is open to 2AM.
When you check in you get a card which allows you to
eat or drink at the Buenaventura and another "sister
hotel", and use any of their facilities at no extra
charge (with all inclusive plan). We were extremely
happy with the VP's restaurants/bars and were happy
staying put.
The VP doesn't have entertainment (although one night
out of the ten they had a show with Mexican dancers)....and
since it's adult only, it is fairly quiet. Going next
door to the Buenaventura is like a culture shock with
the loud noise and many children running around.......but
if that's your thing it's right there for you.
The beach is not the best...a bit rocky for my liking,
but having the 4 canopy beds there, more than makes
up for it. There are also beach lounge chairs, and if
none are available when you get there, just ask one
of the wait staff. There are 2 pools, which are nice....one
for swimming, and the other has the swim up bar. If
you want shade, there are 2 swing beds under a palapa
with white curtains that can be drawn.....quite nice.
The wait staff is excellent here. There are so many
hard working people. The smallness of the hotel leads
to an atmosphere where the staff gets to know you by
name. A special shout out to Victor. Also, Omar, Martin,
Armando, Javier, Fausto. With the all inclusive plan
they say tips are included, but these people go above
and beyond, and deserve extra. We came to the hotel
with stacks of $1 bills , and felt tipping was worth
it.
The general manager of the hotel is quite visible and
available to you if you have any problems. We usually
saw him to give praise for their employees.

Fabulous! This hotel
and Spa was sooo romantic! Double chaise lounges by
the pool, canopy beds on the beach to watch the sunset,
Champagne and rose petals in our room, and a lovely
view of the bay from our balcony. The service was first
rate, the food good, and the hotel very clean and well
kept. The travel agent and concierge were helpful and
the location is walking distance to town. We were on
our 20th anniversary trip and couldn't have asked for
a nicer stay, my only complaint is that it was too short!

We just arrived home
this morning at 3:30am (late arrival home!!!) after
a wonderful 6 days at Villa Premiere. We cannot say
enough wonderful things about the resort. Everything
I read was true, and more!!!
The arrival was smooth, and hospitable. The welcome
drink was a delightful way to begin our stay. I forgot
the bell man's name, but he was very cordial and helpful.
Sofia walked us to our room, and when we indicated we
wished to have an outdoor jacuzzi, every effort was
made to accomodate us, and the move done efficiently
and effortlessly.. We headed to the pool bar for our
first rounds of margaritas, and met some nice people
right away, and had dinner with them at El Manglar that
evening.
We were happy to have included breakfast in to our plan,
and found the food very good and the menu diversified
enough that we did not have to repeat a choice, unless
we wanted to. The next nights we had dinner at le Grueta
on the Malecon, Murales (excellent food, and service),
the Vista Grille (a very impressive dining experience)
and the last night at la Palapa (good food).
We did indulge ourselves with spa treatments. We felt
the resort, itself, perfect for us. Intimate, with a
high level of service, and NO children (what a delight).
(what is your ration of staff to guest???) It was very
nice to deal with the same people over and over, and
have them recognize us. Sofia was the best (ask her
about the safe incident???) Again, handled in a very
professional way, start to finish. Yadira at the concierge
was very helpful. (yes, I bought 3 mocajetes) We had
no trouble getting them back in the states, EXCEPT that
they are HEAVY! She directed us to the "Tlaquepaque"
where we were able to do all of our gift shopping!
I hope you enjoy my brief synopsis of our stay. We will
happily recommend the resort to our clients who come
to Puerto Vallarta.
Thank you for everything.
Regards,
Karen Connelly

Sr.
Castro,
I would like to write you a note to complement one of
your employees - Francisco Aceves.
When we first made our reservations, he was very helpful
and wonderful to deal with on the telephone. Later when
we ran into some problems, he was so nice and helped
us tremendously!
I just want you to know what a great employee you have
and Francisco Aceves is one of the many reasons we will
continue to vacation at the Premiere.
I’am in the resort business and would love to
have an employee like Francisco Aceves working for me.
Sincerely,
Fred Tellir.

Dear
Mr. Milojevic:
My husband and I are home from our honeymoon at your
wonderful hotel and life is back to normal. But we wanted
to tell you - again - what a delightful experience it
was. Where to start? Our room 2503 was beautiful and
the view from the fifth floor astounding, especially
at sunset. We really like the smaller, more intimate
natur of your hotel.
Your Staff is professional and so very helpful. It was
always a pleasure to interact with any of them. We are
already making plans to come back. Villa Premiere is
where we will choose to stay. We want to call your attention
to several of your staff members who particularly won
our hearts. We remember with fondness Lisandroand Julio,
who often greeted us at the door and Martin who made
us our delicious margaritas. We enjoyed talking with
them as they went about their work. Soledad kept our
room is such good order.
It was such a nice feeling to come in and find a note
from her or see towelsdisplayed in such a artful form.
All of your wait staff is professional and pleasant.
(Food was delicious and beautiful to look at, as well
as cat!) They all always went “the extra mile”.
I suppose Fausto made such an impression on us because
he reminds me of a couple of my own children, who are
about his age. On our last day in your fine establishment,
Fausto offered to take us on a little tour of the city
and meet his family, which we were very honored to do.
(His wife is a good cook, too.)
